What do I know.

April 2012 - August 2012 April you say banana Mutant Banana -  Guess what I found? A frightening banana, that didn't look right to anyone.  Two for the price of one?   Not sure its a prize worth winning. May Beautiful Lake Tahoe Lake Tahoe -  Ok, so really I had to go to Reno for the national ABPA conference.  Being president sure does have some glamorous benefits.  Lucky for me I came into some $$ not of my own and after following my non-social friend Danny around the slot machines for a while, I spent 12 hours sitting at a blackjack table. I won a lot, it was a great time, I tipped even more and walked away with.....enough for breakfast.  Dancing queen, feel the beat from the tambourine To recover my grumpy little friend drove me to Lake Tahoe, I woke up 3 times. September - December 2011 September:   Had a quick weekend trip to Vegas for a National ABPA Board Meeting, never left the hotel, barely left the meeting rooms.  The President appointed me as the Magazine Committee Chair, despite my refusing it twice.  October: Joey and Dad had wonderful birthdays.  President Cook, my former basketball coach and Stake President, spoke in General Conference, my Sunday School class had a party and watched it with me.  You can watch it here.  http://youtu.be/znvTtWYWvtM   Wendy and I played our favorite form of lottery, and lost in more ways than one. Had a fun Halloween, Ray and Amee brought Aiden to our Ward trunk or treat, he was the cutest dinosaur anyone had ever seen.  Due to Wendy and I being so inactive, socially, in the ward, everyone thought we were the visitors and Ray and Amee and Aiden blended right in. Aidenosaurus November: November was the most exciting month ever. ...

I can't say I feel comfortable with marking this one off, but I"m going to anyway.  For one full week I left my house for work with or wearing high heels.  How long they stayed on, and where they ended up by the end of the day I can't say.  But I can say, it is incredibly, horribly, painful.  The level of cuteness, and girlieness did not surpass the pain. Where my high heels ended up by the end of the week. so painful so cute

There are plenty of things I should have blogged about. But let's face it....I'm not much for correspondence. And really no one reads my blog so I guess no one's missing out. Here's a quick update. I graduated from college with a bachelors degree in business (and a slight emphasis in entrepreneurship). I'm not an entrepreneur. I got a promotion at work. It officially starts July 1. I'll be a manager in the public works department at the city I work for. It's exciting, and sad, and exciting. Water will always have my heart. That's probably enough for updates really. I turned my business class blog into a blog to dump some of my old writing onto...and any new stuff....if there is ever any new stuff. But I'm not a writer, so don't get too excited. We've reached the end of Love Month, and probably my daily blogging...don't be so relieved. =P But I'll try and put a couple up each week...if I can. I heard that next month is Green Month, I like that. I'll check into it. So here is my last Love Month post until 2011. I Love.... Myself....I guess Is that conceited? I mean, I know I'm not the center of anyone's universe or anything, but I think I'm pretty great. I'd probably be friends with myself. There's definitely things about myself I"m not super fond of but, since it's love month here's what I like: 1. My interesting past experiences. (I'm not super ashamed about them, I think they make me interesting, even now when I feel like I've lost most of my strange personality to being a grownup) - My old dress habits (Loved that UTA shirt) - Misc. criminal mischief and subsequent dealings with the justice system (I don't think I"ll list those.) ...
