It's true. Although this, my third time, was much more successful than preceding visits. Honestly, the first day was almost a success until I was tricked into riding the elevator to hell. Straight to hell.
I know that you can't wait to read how I really feel about it. Here are my thoughts on the "Magical Kingdom".
A. Its full of people, thousands and thousands
of people. Let's face it I can't even go to
Target on a Saturday without getting a little
angry.
2. Germs. You can't have thousands of
people without billions of germs crawling on
things from unwashed hands, sneezing,
coughing, throwing up, etc.
III. Walking. I appreciate a nice brisk walk
now and then, but 20 miles later the
appreciation start to wane, just slightly.
Q. Strollers. I hate strollers, it makes me
shiver just to think about it. Although, I
might change my opinion on strollers if
next time someone pushes me in one.
In conclusion, I love Space Mountain, I want to ride it every day 15 times. My vote for expanding Utah's public transportation system would definately include some kind of unlit tunnels with stars. I love Space Mountain. I hate the tower of terror. I love observing, from a germ safe distance, the incredibly strange behavior that comes out of normally sane people. Disneyland is like the twilight zone of happy cartoon goodness.
My recommendation can only be that you go, at least once, have a corndog, drink several gallons of water and enjoy. I'll see you when you get home.
ps. I stole this picture from Katherine's blog, which I can only assume is legal since she's giving it away for free on the internet...its on computers now.
