It has been a year since my last update. A year goes by a lot faster than you think. I've been thinking a lot about how quickly and slowing time goes lately. Only a year since my grandpa passed away, but it feels like much longer. Almost 10 years since I left to serve a mission in Oregon, that seems absurd, I literally still dream about being a missionary, even last night. It has become more and more clear to me that time is relative, fast paced when we aren't paying attention, and painful slow when we've lost something or someone we never stop thinking about.
My break from blogging wasn't entirely due to the loss of my grandpa, everyone who knows me knows I'm really just an expert procrastinator, and sometimes not much for correspondence. Despite that, I'm determined to do a review of the last year.....at least the good parts.
